On the world's fastest train. Seven minutes for 18 miles. No wheels as the train runs by magnetic levitation. When a train passes by on the other side you literally cannot see it.

Harrumph. Not sure I like seeing our fast food shops all over the world. Kentucky Fried Chicken is the largest franchise of all. We've seen Starbucks, Burger King, McDonalds and even Dunkin' Donuts to name a few.

Las Vegas has nothing on Shanghai. From the Bund you look across at new Shanghai and the city is alive with color and skyscrapers used as tv screens to broadcast ads and feel good messages. The Bund is pulsates with crowds of people of all ages out having

You've come a long ways Shanghai. Twenty years ago there were 500 buildings over 20 stories. Now there are over 5000. Amazing what can happen when a gov't makes all the decisions with no dissenting allowed and an enormous cheap labor pool.
